I noticed this too - I think you came on at 11:00 AM CST yesterday. I was like - um, alright for being on Saturday and Sunday - you know what that means right? That's definitely a good thing!

I saw the chicken episode the first time it aired, and let me tell ya, the cornstarch really does make the chicken crispy and crunchy. I loved it and I wish I would of known that a lot sooner.
Thanks Sunny!! My chicken loving husband thanks you too!

ken, lol on the rsvp ... i am gonna be a one woman wrecking ball through the coney when i get there!!

dtdub, nice huh? either that or they are trying to see if the sunday morning hangover crowd is what's helping me :-) teeheehee ... either way, i'm happy! thanks for catching the new time!

anon, yaaaaaay!!! one more fried chicken rescue! glad you guys like it, yeah, no secrets here ... the cornstarch is where it's at, i held that for years from friends lol ... and here i am sharing it with the world. nothing new, people have done it for years ... the word just needed to spread. try sweet tea and other juices for the brine if you like as well!

I thought it was a fluke when I tuned in the other day thinking that it would be Rescue Chef (or whatever it was) pre my normal watching of Everyday Italian. I was happy to see our fave Sunny on there and that recipe is cursing me. I know I have to try it - and will do so this weekend.

I'm still recovering from that butter fiasco *LOL*
