and Didja know ...
When on the Wendy Williams show, someone called in and asked me when I was going to do an oxtail recipe, I replied ... "it's done, should be on soon!". Well, it's on this Sunday :-), I'll make some oxtails, plantains, something I call kale-llaloo instead of calaloo and I'll show you how I make my perfect rice ... a few tricks that'll keep it nice and fluffy. Hope you like it!

Hey Sunny!
Well, we listened to you on the Wendy Williams show and the Ed Lover show and Kabrina wanted to call in and say hi! Butttt of course, as you know, these radio stations are so hard to get thru that by the time you left we were still trying...lol.

Anyway, you were great and if you happen to be on any other stations, let us know, maybe we'll get through on those...lol!

I love that show. Me and my Boyfriend was drooling over the Oxtails. He was like you could cook that, it is too bad that I am a Vegetarian now.

I LOVE oxtail! I just caught that episode and it was a great show. It reminded me of my childhood, because I grew up eating oxtail stew too (Chinese style though). I think that style uses chinese herbs like star anise, ginger, and dried orange peels. My brother and I used to wander around Hawaii searching for the best bowl of Chinese Oxtail Soup. Surprisingly, our favorite place is a restaurant in a bowling alley.

Anyway, I can't wait to try your recipe. Keep up the great show and exciting recipes!
