Interviews and Blog Friends!!!

Hey all!
A few weeks ago I got a request to do an interview on Inchicity.com, which is a website based in Chicago. Check out the interview, I actually had to do it via email and wrote the answers during a flight because I was on the road traveling and couldn't sync up my time. Here's an excerpt...
ICC: What's your favorite music to play in the kitchen?

Sunny: I don't really play music while cooking I like to be alone with my thoughts. It's as if the kitchen is a meditation zone for me. I can be chopping and thinking about it intently and come up with a new recipe.

ICC: If you were featured on MTV Cribs what would we find in your refrigerator?

Sunny: You'd find it first, very organized. I usually have mango juice to blend with prosecco. Lots of different types of cheeses and my crisper drawer looks like a vegetable stand/herb garden with cilantro, rosemary, parsley, sage and thyme always fresh and ready to go. I also usually have 2 dozen eggs and plenty of milk and heavy cream for baking and sauces. I don't have too many proteins because I buy them a few times a week based on what I decide to cook that day, but bacon is always present!

Then head to the home page and see the HUUUUGE ad for my blog friend Darius T. Williams. He has a new blog on the site and loves cooking, eating and telling us about it. Check him out and Congrats dtdub!

grown royal on ryce, omg .... we were separated at the candy store/birth!! teeheehee ... i've done kitkat's, but i think it's the frozen caramel that gets me ... so the twix is dangerous, but the snickers with the nougat to boot???? omg, it cures my common blues when they make an appearance!

lys, thanks ... i always fell weird doing interviews because so many of the answers are true on the day i answer, and like life ... they flow and change ... right now, i'm lovin music in the kitchen. set my yahoo im up and use the radio feature ...

So, I'm over here chatting it up with Nik from Nik Snacks and she told me about this. Sunny - you do know you're awesome, right? Thanks so much for this. Um, this is really way too much for me right now. I'm sitting here in tears because of this. Thanks for this - you have absolutely no idea what this means.

I mean, I look up to you. You're my unofficial food mentor and it just feels really good right now to know that what I'm doing is having such a positive effect on other people.

Listen, you said something that has stuck with me...you once said, "i'm just a chick with a dream." Those seven words hold more power than you can imagine for me. I'm just a dude with a dream - and you know what - I'm gonna keep on dream and moving until I reach my destiny.

Thanks again Sunny for all that you do and all that you are! The FN is better because of you!
