GMA Friday and The Today Show Saturday!

Hey there! Yesterday we wrapped up taping on my 8th season of Cooking for Real! I've been in and out of a sleep deprivation coma all day, partially brought on by the wrap party we had last night :-). I can't wait for you to see the new episodes and I still have more things to share from my time taping, but I just thought I'd drop in to let you know where you can catch me talking about Labor Day food this weekend. Tomorrow, I'm hanging out with George Stephanopoulos and the gang at Good Morning America on ABC. They invited me to talk about all the food we dined on at Vice President Biden's residence with the troops and I'll demonstrate a couple of my recipes from that day. Catch the full story in Food Network Magazine and here on my blog by clicking the "VP visit" link below this post. Here we are at the event...
Then, Saturday wake up early and catch me with the team at The Today Show on NBC! I have a completely different spread to share and it's actually a preview of things to come on the new season I just finished taping.

Ok, I just wanted to drop in and let you know where to catch me. Both websites will have the recipes available, but I'll put up links over the weekend. Thanks for all your support, it is so neat to continue to join both morning shows on holiday weekends and I know I can't do it without ya! All the clicks, Tivo's, DVR's and "didja know's" that you share with friends and family really matter and I appreciate it. Hope you enjoy the holiday!

Remember GMA Friday and The Today Show Saturday!

jen, yaaaay! i am excited too. hope you like all the recipes, i basically cooked and ate like it was autumn and winter alll summer, so these eps would go with the seasonal flow. i can't wait for you to see them!

anon, it's up! thanks so much for watching!

thomas, hope you and your wife enjoy them! the recipe is up now!

jesse, they are up! thanks so much for watching! i hope you enjoy them, they're creamy and tasty!

anon, thanks so much for posting a comment, it is yours and many others that prompted me to put the recipes up. i can't find them on the today show website either, so hopefully this helps others that didn't have the time to comment. so thanks again, i really appreciate your being an active reader, it helps me from time to time deliver things people need.

anon, thanks and ditto from my comment above, hope these work at your picnic!

anon, thanks the patty melts are something else! the chorizo keeps the chicken juicy and the onions are soo good caramelized instead of sauteed! hope you like the recipe!

swiggins, glad you caught my tour de food :-) ... i totally enjoy doing the holiday gigs, most of them are eating holidays so it's right up my alley! btw, the recipes are up and ready for the taking! enjoy and let me know how they turned out!

anon, sorry you spent so much time looking for the recipes :-(, i know the feeling of looking for something that you can't find online, i just spent hours trying to find an old dat player that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. took forever, but i did find one. so hopefully you check back in and catch this response and the recipes :-). enjoy and let me know how they tasted!

anon, no prob! i logged on and saw all the comments and quickly got to work! thanks for being an active reader, it really helps me stay on track. i want to be available, especially when it concerns food questions, so i appreciate the heads up about not being able to find the recipes.hope you have fun pulling them together, the swirling part on the brownies is my favorite, after that it's the breaking down of all the fruits n veggies for the salsa.
