I was so busy and hectic this week that I didn't even tell you some neat news. Tuesday, while in the Food Network Kitchens I got word that there was a possibility that I was going to be booked on the Rachael Ray Show!!! Sunny, I just watched the Talkin Turkey show. Thanks for the great recipes! I will be trying the turket breast and mini pies. To save some time and effort, can I use Bisquick or a premade dough for the pies? If so, what do you suggest? I am looking forward to trying the recipes and serving it during a weeknight gathering.

Thanks!!!

With school and everything I have not seen too many of your shows. Thank God for DVR and the upcoming holidays.

Congrats on the RR show. Y'all are two of my favorites.

Hey, was the Strawberry show on How'd That Get on My Plate a repeat (I deleted it from DVR without watching it because I think I'd seen it already).

LOL

If not, oh well ... I am sure I will catch it again.

jill, argh, work on a saturday ... been there, recently lol. well, i hope you like the show when you catch it! hope work was bearable ...

anon, thanks and your welcome! the glaze is crazy and you sure can do a quick crust. add in some pecans that you blitz in a processor to the quick crust batter for some extra flavor and style. you can get the pre-rolled and integrate the nuts into it with a rolling pin as well.

houstonmacbro, it's cool, school is way more important. there's a whole 2 semesters where i don't know a thing about pop culture or the world, i was too into the books. thanks for the congrats, hope i do ya proud on the show! i was nerrrrrvous!!!

anon, i looooooooooooved everyone at Bobbees!! If you know them, pass on my love. I expect to speak with them soon on some other stuff. they all went in on a beautiful saturday there to work for the shoot so we could get our shots and they all smiled and stayed all day, what a group of nice people. we had so much fun talking and laughing, it made the fact that it was a saturday not so bad. aaaaaand all the sauces for the various companies were packed and made with quality and care. real cool operation i can really respect.

Yo - I just finished the show...I've never been crazy about pumpkin - but I think I'm gonna sub for sweet potatoes. That turkey breast - NOW THAT'S WHAT'S UP! I'm no mushroom fan either - but that rice bake may turn me into one. I needed a glass of your fruity tea to go with this and a nap afterwards!

dtdub, i luh pumpkin, you gotta try the recipe. and the rice bake with mushrooms was just my play on the typical "add canned cream of mushroom" casserole. I figure why get it canned when you can make it freshhhh? hope u r stayin warm!
