Holiday Extravaganza!

Hey all!

As I was watching one of my fave local cake spots go mano-a-mano with Bobby Flay on Throwdown lastnight, I caught a commercial for the holiday show I told you about a couple of months ago. It reminded me to give you a heads up about the show again! Check the Holiday Extravaganza page for some of the behind the scenes videos and recipes as well as extended air dates.

The show premieres this Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! at 9PM EST ...

Hope you catch all the fun. I cooked with Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay on the show and had a great time. The recipes are great, I sat at the table long after wrap eating a bite of each dish. I was thinkin' when do you get to eat such great recipes all at once??? So ... I ate. Looks like long walks and lots of water are in my future, Thanksgiving was unbelievable as far as the eating goes. New Year's resolution anyone?? Back on subject, hope you like the show and the recipes.

Every time I see that commercial, two thoughts go through my head 1) I need to DVR that - those recipes are gonna be the bobmb and 2) Where the heck did Sunny get that blouse. Loves it!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and a great holiday season!

I just watched show. It was awesome. I can tell you guys had a lot of fun doing this. My faves for the night: You & Guy, The Neelys & Guy, You & Bobby, and Bobby & Giada. I was happy to see you work with Guy. He's one of my favorites on the network. It seems like you guys all have a good chemistry. Keep up the great work Ms. Sunny.

Saw the show. You were great with Bobby!

Your black eyed pea salad looked yummy.

I'm so envious that you sat next to Alton at the dinner ;)

lys, got the top at yamak, a store i nyc. there used to be just one location and they just opened another. it's teeny and has great pieces cuz the owner has a good eye. great accessories too, got my top and my necklace there. look em up, but if you are over a medium or 8, you gotta get there when they get shipments ... only 1 large comes in for the big girls lol ... and everytime i see a top in medium that is missing in large i am a bit annoyed i got there too late. really like the store though and the women there are great.

jackson, thanks!!!! i did have fun!!! they really make it easy on a rookie. everyone was so welcoming, really. i feel if they weren't i'd find a way to say it ... haven't needed to, people here are just the nicest. and it allows me to be my best self. very very neat. and guy is great, one of the first people on air to reach out with some advice and words of encouragement.

mise en place, send a msg for me pls to the fnfans forum ... let them know thanks for the forum 1st and that just a year ago i was reading it as a fan and now i find myself reading reviews to gauge my progress. also, thanks for letting me know about truncating my posts in feeds. i'm a rookie and didn't really set this up for max hits, just for someone looking for inside stuff, so i appreciate them hinting i needed to make a teeny change, prob is, it is hard to post over there just to say thanks. can ya hook me up? ok, hope you don't mind being a msngr ... now ... yaaaaay! glad you saw the show! i knew you wouldn't miss it though, duh ... alton :-). he was great huh?! liked when he headed to the oven that one time, his movements and face were very 'good eats' of him. and don't be envious ... you've met him more times than me :-P. we all ate for about 10 minutes for the camera to get it's shot and then they all got up, my chunky butt sat there a bit more and ate ...so our side by side wasn't all that...

No problem. I just posted over there to let them know :)

I don't care how short the dinner scene was, you still got to sit next to Alton. I'd probably would have passed out. ;)

I forgot to post earlier...
Watched your Thanksgiving epi for "Cooking for Real", it was great.

mise en place, thanks bunches, i owe you a cyber favor :-). glad you liked the thanksgiving show!!! i was worried the peach rosemary thing would throw gravy lovers off, at home i did that and another set of breasts for turkey day. the second was with an herbed crust and i made a gravy for that one to appease the gravy heads :-)
