Hey there! Well, day 4 of taping Season 9 of Cooking for Real was plenty of fun!! I opened the window to my hotel and saw what the weather did over night ...
Not much, eh? I got to work and the day started with some friends ...There they are getting all ready for their close up. When I have airdates, I'll share more details. We had a great time taping, I wonder how we got any cooking done. For real :-)
Ok, well it's the end of the week and I'm beat! Hence the quick post ... I'm in Ohio though, ready to hang out tomorrow at the Giant Eagle within the Kingsdale Market District in Columbus. Come on by if you are in the area, I have a fun menu and plenty of smiles to share :-).

Hi Sunny!
Congrats on the new season! I do hope your new season would be shown on the Food Network Asia! Especially here in Singapore! (Have you heard/been in Singapore before? It's a really small - and hot! - country!)
Eversince Food Network Asia debut in Southeast Asia, I have to say, aside from Good Eats, Cooking for Real had me hooked from day one! I like the way you present your cooking and I've tried recipes such as Sunny Morning Muffin (mum and bestie loves it! My mum even asked me to put in dates into it and she loves that inclusion even more), Pb & J pancake and Wings 3.0(again, family loves it) to delicious results!
I hope your new season would bring more delicious/sedap recipes for us! Here's a resounding " all the best!" to you from Sunny Singapore!
Nur
You are a gal on the GO!
Have to share...cooked with quinoa for the first time today. Subbed it for rice in my "unstuffed peppers". The dish was a hit! Started off by sautéing two large red and green bell peppers, one zucchini, three Romas, red onion then added in a pound of lean ground turkey.(normally I use beef) added the cooked quinoa to that mixture, couple turns around the pan of worcestershire and plenty of seasoning along the way. Stir in shredded cheddar at the end. Oh my, a keeper for sure! do you have any personal faves for quinoa?
What a great pic from the hotel - I remember that pier :) The snow was pretty much a hit or miss. Philly got .6" in some parts and 2" in others - talk about Mother Nature being temperamental.
Hope Ohio was a blast! Great to see guests at the counter :)
Really enjoyed the show (for REAL) on Sunday, Sweetheart. You can borrow from the South anytime. :) When are you coming to the South? I'd love for you to bring your guy and my hubbie and I can show you guys a great time!:) Have a blast taping!!! Love you much.

SUNNY!!!! It was GREAT seeing you at the Market District!! Keep up the great show and keep in touch! I wanted to post the picture of Tony, myself and YOU!!!! I love you always!!!
You know Sunny, that guy sitting off to the left staring at the lights, looks awfully familiar....
Oh yeah, that's the guy that said he'd meet me up in downtown Chi-town, yeah that's him! Good times...
Darius, just giving you a good ribbing, and by the way, I grew my hair out long again.
Ha...what in the world am I looking at?!?!
*just posting this in case it was not accepted through my iTouch (: *
Hey sunny!
Just wanna wish you the best for your new season from the other side of the world, Singapore. (have you heard of it? It's really small! ^^)
Ever since Foodnetwork Asia debut in Asia, your show, along with Good Eats have been on my must-watch list! I even recorded your show whenever I'm not able to watch. I've made Sunny morning muffin (My mum and bestie loves~ it! Although my mum likes it more whenever I add dates inside - with less sugar- cause dates is naturally sweet) and wings 3.0 (loveee it!), just to name a few! Thank you for making your dishes doable even for me living in a different part of the world!
Here's best wishes from SUNNY Singapore! ^^ I do hope your new show will be shown in Singapore!
